Devon holiday accommodation, activities and tourism services in and around South Devon.
From hotels to guest houses, self-catering apartments and cottages, bed and breakfast
B&B, farm houses, camp sites, pubs and inns, shops and restaurants.
This part of Devon is a premier tourism area known as the South Hams, a landscape of steeply rolling hills
dropping down to deep hidden valleys, sandy beaches and coves, much of which is a designated
area of natural outstanding beauty.
Our coastline runs from Dartmouth in the East to Plymouth in the West, with pretty
coastal villages and coves along the way, Blackpool Sands, Slapton Sands and Torcross,
East Prawle, Lanacombe, Gara Rock, Salcombe, Soar Mill, Hope Cove, Thurlestone, Burgh Island,
Bantham, Bigbury, Chalaborough, Mothercombe, Newton Ferries.
Three magnificent estuaries cut deep into our Devon country, the Dart River estuary
with the historic port of Dartmouth,
the rias (sunken glacial valleys) of Salcombe and Kingsbridge estuary and the Avon River estuary with Averton Gifford
at the head. Our expansive coast line and estuaries combine to make this a water heaven for
wildlife and pleasure activities.
For a complete and dramatic change of scenery then you have the wild wilderness of Dartmoor
National Park just to the North.
